Title:
“Aesthetic and Functional Hard and Soft Tissue Augmentation around Implants”
Learning Objectives:
• Understand when there is a clinical indication for the augmentation of the peri-implant hard and soft tissues
• Be able to describe the surgical approach for tissue augmentation
• Understand limits and possibilities of the use of biomaterials alternative to autogenous bone and connective tissue graft
• Be able to describe the surgical management of a volume-stable collagen matrix
Speaker Biographical Sketch:
Daniele Caradopoli, DDS., received his Certificate in Periodontology from the University of Turin Dental School, Italy. He is an Active Member of the Italian Society of Periodontology (SIdP), of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), of the Italian Society of Osseointegrated Implantology (SIO), and is an International Member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP). He is Scientific Director of PROED – Institute for Professional Education in Dentistry, Turin (Italy) and also is the Director of the Oral Implantology Department at the “Sedes Sapientae” Clinic in Turin. He is a Fellow in the “Harvard Longitudinal Course in Periodontology and Implantology” at the Harvard Dental School and in the Post-graduate course “Excellence in Biomechanics” at the University of Siena.
Dr. Caradopoli is a member of the Editorial Review Board of American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, of the Editorial Advisory Board of The Journal of Implant & Advanced Clinical Dentistry, reviewer ad hoc for Journal of Periodontology, Angle Orthodontists, and the Indian Journal of Dental Research.
